I Mbit for me and never looked back. :)

I don’t normally brag, but it won’t even fit on the screenshot...that’s 6845KB :D

Dial-up at present but have started the process to convert to broadband.

And some old dear with a bakerlite set in our village.

I'm with Wanadoodoo ATM, but I'm going to Pipex next month. Since the Freeserve switch, actual connection speeds have gone through the floor.

Still gonna stay with 512 for the moment, as that's the best VFM with Pipex. Don't think that'll be the case in 3 months though. Switched my old man over to them a couple months back with impressive results. Great newsgroup service aswell. :)

Hi M8s

Broadband is getting cheaper day by day. Dial-up may disappear soon. Now BT offers a faster Broadband for home users just £17.99 a month.

Can someone add 750k Cable to the poll, since its not on there and telewest(blueyonder) love their odd 50% extra speeds.

u could allways add NTL to the debate but they will probably run up there limit replying,,,im on pipex 1mb and to be honest i cant see much difference from goin from there 500mb service unless i goto a site like microsoft etc...so stick with ya 500 it aint worth the extra...lol

Telewest (Blueyonder) 3mb.....was 2mb but 50% increase (as damhy says) was v. useful.

@ Jimbo, I know why your globe is moving 50% faster. LOL..

1 Mbit ADSL, and happy for it.
Pay about 34£/month here in Denmark.
No download limit.

Pay for 512kbs - given 1mb by server - problem is that most ISPs were not geared up to the doubling up overnight of bandwidth, so problems still not sorted 3 weeks later
