Ive dumped almost all my vinyl - they were all scratched to hell from being played with a worn stylus when I was skint. Last time I tried playing them they just sounded HORRIBLE! So Ive replaced them with cd's

Ay, we're in that process too.

Got rid of my own many years ago, but later regretted it for a while, but SWMBO has hung onto hers until now. No idea why she finally relinquished the Vinyl stranglehold, but it has given me years of potential Crimble and Birthday stocking-fillers to buy as they gradually get replaced.

Ive had great fun lovingly recreating all my old mix tapes using cd tracks & whatnot. Now have loads of folders full of long lost tapes - I kept the insert sleeves when the tapes got destroyed! More than one got soggy in the door pocket of the car when a window was left open in a rainstorm
