Advice Needed What receiver?

Sorry for my poor english, not native.
Sorry if my post is in wrong place.
I need a cable receiver, after days of search (I do not know anything about this world), started to look at octagon 4008 because the possibility of multiple T2 tuners.
Is this box reliable? quality?
Alternatives with more than 1 tuner dvb T2?
With more than one tuner should I have a splitter from the main antena cable to feed all tuners?
I Know this is basic for you, but for me it is a new and unknown world.

I have the Octagon SF8008 combo which has the DVB-T/C tuner in it, though I am unable to check if it works on a cable input. Certainly the terrestrial side of it is functional from an outdoor antenna.

The inputs will need to be connected simultaneously to the incoming cable.

You will need to be patient - Our Members have busy lives and might not check in to the Forum very often.
 
I'd definitely recommend the 8008. For the price now it's a great deal. If it only decoded 4.2.2 but you can't heve everything but it seems not much stuff is 4.2.2 these days ?
