yorkshire
it has beams that cover north/south america and a beam that covers europe. so i guess you'd only get the europe beam as the other would be two far away

The Hemi Beam covers both North and South America and parts of Europe as well. The situation in Germany is as follows:
On a 1.20m the strongest transponders appear without guarantee to watch them all the time. A 1.80m will get almost all but a 2.40m is recommended for 24/7 reception. Southern UK and Sweden should have similar conditions. In Spain a 1.50m seems to be enough for everything.

for those whom may be interested NSS806 it can be recieved in the UK and many parts of Europe quite easily with very good signal levels on A precision 2.0 mtr with a professional ADI feed horn ( KU and C band)

There are more than 15 sats with C band recievable on the above set up

C band is still very busy and an excellent oppotunity for the unsual

The attached C band overview is a little old but will provide an overview I hope to those interested.
