Hi All, I was losing channels on my free sat box for a whiles there. Then a storm blew through and took out the lot. So I bought a new sat box as it had more channels than the old one. Bought from a reputable reseller so confident it's OK. Well no signal box but shows on tv. Bought a new lnb, connected it, no signal. Bought a sat finder. Lights up when connected to the receiver but when I connect the lnb side I've nothing. It just stays blank.

At my wits end so. Any help appreciated.

What now?

Sounds like the dish needs re-aligning. Or perhaps there's water ingress into the cable.

Thanks, cable could it. The old lnb had a crack in the white cover bitso.

Highly unlikely for water to get into cable from cap on lnb. 99% dish alignment
