My Satellite Setup
120cm offset dish+manhattan plaza st500,
but would like to upgrade my system to receive freesat UK in the South of Italy.
My Location
TURI (BARI), APULIA, SOUTH ITALY
To move an Andrew dish 1.80 is better a Supermount Jeager SMR 1224 EL (heavy duty) or a 36" actuator?

Which one gives the wider movement? I've read somewhere that the former has a 180° movement and the latter is a bit more restricted...is it true or not?:confused:
 
to move a andrews 1.8m, the jaeger 1224 is not suitable as the motor would break due to the weight of the dish

better to make a polar mount if you can weld or have access to a machine shop to build one and use a 36inch heavy duty actuator

a german company called apexsat, make them but they are quite expensive
