Hello!
around 3 weeks ago,a new satelltie for the postion 23,5 goes into the orbit!
since around 2 weeks the sabc national programm transmit, maybe only during the worldcap!
did someone know, when the regular transmision of the new 23,5 east satelite will begin?
very intresting then the special africa beam!
also siriius have one,are the any recpetion reports in kuband about this beam?

next bird will be replaced also is badr on 30.5 east,so this year we have many good upcoming events,in the sky:)

The new satellite Astra 3B is still on the ground - the launcher had a major component failure and the launch was scrubbed until the problem could be fiixed.

The SABC channels are currently on Astra 1E 10758V, although I havent managed to get a picture off the reported fta SABC1 yet :(

The transmissions are almost certainly only temporary as an additional backhaul route into Europe for the World Cup programming.

According to -http://www.satelliteonthenet.co.uk/index.php/launch-schedule the launch of Astra 3B and ComSat BW-2 has reschedule for May 21 2010
