Where To Buy 3 M Dish

i am base at leeds west yorkshire( uk )
 
I have spotted one 3m dish which is not working as a dish but just for advertisement of SAT equipment shop. I do not know should I ask them to sell it to me?

Just come right out with it and ask ............. the worst that can happen is a curt "no".

Nothing to lose.
 
You are right, I must ask. If answer is "no" or "price is very big" than I have another place to try to make bargain. Those to "tots" even not working as advertisement, but completely opposite. Took this picture from car and do not know size of those two antennas, and the biggest issue is to find owner. So, I am working on this issue, no success yet.

It was, I'm afraid - reason I recall is that I wondered at the time where he was and checked. Not important - except to him when the Planners catch up! :-shifty :-toilet

How many people want a 3M dish? When 2F replaces 1N there may be quite a few dishes here that are doing nothing but looking ugly. It may be possible to get say 5 of these dishes and send them in a container to the UK.
They would come without stands as most have been concreted in. They are 2.4 M dishes with extension petals. They are made by Famaval
I would take a guess that they would be 500-700 each landed in the Uk.

What's anyone's thoughts?
 
A 3 meter dish is not ugly, it's beautiful to look at, don't you like dishes?

Why do you say it will be useless when 2F comes? most probably you will need something even bigger when 2F comes.

That's the Channel Master SMC 3 meter in 4 pieces, buy it if you can, great dish for the money.

No the point is that the 3.1M will get nothing more than a1.2M will get (Apart from 28.5E but most people won't be bothered)
Still wait & see but we are a long way south.
