Well..... bit the bullet and bent my plastic, bought an LG 42LE5900 from Richer Sounds. After reading many reviews on LG, Panasonic and Samsung they were all similar!
I'm very pleased with its picture quality as up to now LCD LED's haven't really impressed me (still reckon tubes are best!) but to get a tube telly in 42 inch would take up half the space in my lounge!
