I'm Turkish myself and use an Openbox V8S for the free to air Turkish channels at 42E (I actually have a motorised system but my dish is mainly pointed at Turksat 42E as my parents like to follow Turkish dramas on EuroD & Star - they are always about three hours long each episode! :D) The Openbox actually isn't a bad box, I like it far more than the Fortec Star SD receiver I had before. Yes, it's cheap and cheerful - you don't get any fancy menu's or features but if you simply want to receive Turkish TV channels I think this box is good enough for that. As AnalogueSat rightly pointed out, the box doesn't have a built in hard drive but does have PVR features - you'll need to plug in an external hard drive or USB memory stick in to the USB port to record programmes and if you wanted to, use the timeshift function (pause and rewind live tv). If you do not need the ability to record a channel whilst watching another at the same time (which you wouldn't be able to do without a twin LNB anyway) , this is a very reasonably priced way of doing it. The handy thing I've found about using an external drive is the ability to simply unplug it from the box and watch a recorded program on another TV in the house.
