Thanks for reading.

So we had some really high winds last night, my dish wouldn't pick up any signal no matter where I drive it, Figured it's rotated around the pole - so I drive it to 1w and go out and align it, 98% signal. Then I drive it and Im getting no other satellites, It can't even see 28.2e.

I drive it back to 1W and notice the physical degree marking on the motor shows 15w so I tell the box to drive it to absolute 0w/e and it stops at about 10w. It's like the wind had pushed the dish and it's moved the gears but now the motor doesn't know where it is, I pushed the reset button on the motor but that didn't seem to do anything.

Any ideas or is the motor knackered? :(

The motor is a TM-2300

Rotated around the pole it may well have done ................ but has it also rotated about the motor stub?

That would account for you being able to align to Thor but the complete lack of tracking.

10-15 deg isn't much, but it's enough to bu**er up the tracking!

I don't think it has, Issue is when I tell the box to drive to 1w the markings on the actual motor case show it's at 10w which can't be right, It should be showing just a notch after 0?

I have a similer problem with my TM2600 motor. It was not tracking properley.
The motor has not moved on the pole. Two days ago.I reset long and lat to zero.I then sent the motor to zero, and reset it useing the reset hole.I reset my long and latitude.28.2 east has the normal strong signal. But the pointer on the motor is just before 35 degrees.Send it to 30 west and the pointer is on 30 degrees west. Most odd.

The teeth on the gears will be knackered. I had it last year with my old TM-2300. It only has to sheer a few teeth to bugger it up completely.

Maybe you guys already know the site , anyway , at hxxp://www.moteck.com/product.asp?idproduct=91 you can fill in the lat and lon of your location and the aimed sat position
The program calculates and shows the azymuth angle for the motor .
