Advice Needed Window Air Conditioner Hole in the Wall

I think I found good a use for my VHS tapes.
The length is 19cm which is almost the same as my wall brick thickness of 20cm.
Pile the cassettes one by one so they fill the whole of the AC hole.
I shall need two rows and a bit.
 
As a bonus they might even be stronger than the brickwork.
