Won't switch on with the remote

Tivusat can I record on it cos I haven't a Manuel can someone help plz

Hi everyone ,can someone help me plz .ive got a tivu -sat I-CAN 1110SV storm it won't swicth on by the remote control it just stays on standby I've changed batteries it worked for while now it's done it again hope someone can help, sweetcheeks
 
Take off the battery cover and aggressively rotate the batteries in their holders, in order to scrub the contacts.

If that works, consider abrading any corrosion on a more permanent basis. I use fine-grade sandpaper, but that's probably a little OTT! But if you do do that, hold the Remote upside down so any debris falls away from it, rather than potentially into the innards.
 
Got a digital camera? Point the sender of the remote at the camera and push a button. The IR led will easily seen to flicker if the remote is working.
 
Hi I've got another question.can I record on my tivusat when I go in the menu it's asking for a pin . I don't know the pin cos it's new can you help plz
