Yellow House Viewing Card

I recently purchased a digibox on an online auction
It came with a viewing card (yellow House) at no extra charge
As I flicked Through the channels I got BBC1, BBC2,
No ITV CH4 Or CH5 (Phone for subscription message)
As I flicked on I then got things like UK Gold ETC!!

What Have I Got??

Sounds like the card hasn't been fully cancelled, leave it in the box overnight and see what else appears, you should certainly get all of the FTV channels like ITV and Channel 4, but you may even get some more sub' channels. :)

Could be your lucky day, but the sub channels could equally well disappear after the box has been on for a while. :)
 
Ah, sounds like the original owner disconnected the box and then cancelled, so the signal wasn't received by the card until you installed it. :
 
No, you need an active Sky subscription to get Sky's PPV stuff
 
I got a second hand box/card with all the discovery, music, uktv and sky movie 1-9 channels still working. This was about a year ago and they are still working.

It may be dealers card - you were lucky...
 
I certainly was. i don't know about it being a dealers card, for instance before ITV2 went FTA I couldn't watch it. All the rest worked though
