A quick guide for those of us with facial hair and how it effects your surgical mask seal...

Beards and coronavirus...

I'm disappointed that my ambition to grow a hulihee has now been postponed by either a cure for the virus or death, whichever comes first...

I'm good, no beard, and of course the majority of masks people are wearing are about as effective at defending against viruses as a sieve is at stopping water from flowing through... :-rofl2

I'm glad there was a picture of a hulihee as I had never heard of the term before.

And I must take issue with the picture of the mutton chops as a moustache is not a necessity. I think back to the 60s when I craved a pair of mutton chops as espoused by John Lennon and Tom McGuinness. I'm sure I would have been sent home from school though.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

A bearded face has been proven many times in medical tests to be more protective against airborne infection than shaven skin.

There will be some that claim it's complete follicles.

Just consume copious amounts of russian antiseptic, also known as "vodka", it'll keep you good for a while...

Raymond Dorset could be living on borrowed time.
