Zone 1 dish with monoblock

Hi guys I'm looking to get a monoblock setup for 13e and 19.2e.

Already have the monoblock and a spare zone 1 dish, having read around the Internet it seems like this isnt possible.

I also read that the mk4 zone 1 dishes are actually bigger than the mk3 dishes, would this mean there could be a chance of getting it to work now?

If not I'll get a zone 2 dish setup.

I actually have a motorised dish ATM. But hate it, too big, too much messing around and too much hassle!

Could anyone just clear it up?

No it won't work on a zone 1. The LNBs would be too far apart still.

There are reports of monobloc's working with zone2's, which I would of thought are pretty standard for the North. Personally, I'd get myself a decent 70/80cm.

I seem to recall someone tried it with a 3 degree monoblock.

But I can't remember if it worked or not.

Does anyone remember?

Bigger by a few centimetres! Negligible improvement. Is is more rigid than the previous dish.

A Triax TD64 is much better choice, it will endure the bad weather easily and takes normal LNBs. When the $ly dish falls apart, the Triax will still be going.

It is the smallest you can get away with, a TD78 would be more ideal.

If you spray it with plastikote spray paint to match the wall of the house, it will look smaller.

I reckon i'll just take my motor off the dish i've got ATM.

Its an 80cm so will be fine.
