BSB dishes / squarials that are still in place

Maybe the director is another secret dish obsessive?!

Now I've found this forum I'll start looking for poor abandoned squarials round here (they seem to be an endangered species though)

I remember watching BSB when I was a kid though we received it via a local cable operation, it did seem quite good compared to the dross that is Sky
 
Spotted in the week just off Elm Grove in Brighton. I used to work for UKRS and BSB was popular in town as the council were really sniffy about big ugly Salora or White Sky dishes going up so quite a few BSB installs were indoors behind a SW facing window. Fortunately for us this one wasn't.

Five years on Im pleased to say this one is still here - I saw it yesterday whilst I was out photographing the trains on our reopened railway line :)
 
There is a round bsb satellite dish with original lnb still in place in a street next to mine. No wire connected to it though.

The Bridge Inn in Galashiels - a couple of miles from where Im sitting. I posted that one a while back :)

Its still there - I saw it yesterday :D
 
There's a good few round this neck of the woods, they all look a bit "boggin" these days.

Ive driven by that one daily for years and not even noticed it.
 
Can somebody give me a dig out, got a picture of the round style "Philips" BSB dish on one of the few remaining outbuildings located at the old Stranraer ferry pier. It's too big for the site and I'm posting from my Android phone so shrinking it is less obvious/easy to do, cheers.

Im glad to say this one is still in place 9 years after I first posted it! I saw it yesterday :cool:

I think I shall try my BSB dish on Bulgariasat! Should be high enough power to overcome the small dish size, and as the transmission are up the top half of the band up past 12200MHz the 10700 LO shouldnt be too much of a problem. Now I need a decent weekend without the wind blowing a hooley to experiment with :D

What wind?, according to the Daily Mail (Don't worry I never read their p*she) it's a dry weekend ahead of some Ice Blast that's to hit the UK this week coming, think their doing a "BBC special" i.e. talking about the U.K. when they mean the South of England because that's all the U.K. consists of........deary me
