Hey John . Is that your 1.2m . I can't get a sniff . I do wonder why. If it was obstruction I wouldn't get the Italian TP so I think my dish might need a slight tweak for 3w or could it be lnb skew

Yep, off the 1.2 CM, there running like the wind still at the moment at 60% Qual off the GTMedia

i reckon my roof gets in the way...will send pics in morning...just been out and changed lnb, gentle nudges up and down to dish dont help - cannot get past 13.2-13.5db
18db on 30w, 17.8db on 42e.

VERY VERY fine margins! I now want a 1.3, or 1.4
weather is VERY clear and fine tonight - in my favour, - the slightest rain and this signal would go for sure.


my octagon sf8008 is breaking up slightly - reading 5.5-6.0 db - i wonder if thats because my vbox is taking connection before sending to octagon (i.e one break in connection) - my T5402 M4 which is second LNB connection straight through - no breakup THUS far, but unfair to compare tuners, cant be arsed to swap cables.

Yeh it'll be the vbox for sure, I seem to recall measuring a 1 to 1.5db loss through mine vs not.

Slight breakup here on CM 1.2m in the north east, though that's with Eutelsat skew offset so there should be a bit more to come.



The dogs feed scans in but only a tickle of lock every few seconds.
