Dish : Dur- Line Aluminium 75/80cm
LNB : Dur - Line Twin
4. Receiver: Fortec Star HD Passion Plus ( 2010 )
5. WF 100 cable

Is it possible to get the Downloader App in the Octagon 8008sf?

The 8008 updates in many different sites provide muiltiple files once unpacked.

You need to store them in the root file of a USB stick

It also supports FAT16, but FAT16/32 must be MBR, not GPT.

Before I start the transfer the file to a USB and want to make sure I do properly so I had a Fat32 USB that I bought at amazon sometime ago, my question is do I still need to go through the MRB process? Many thanks
 
Good morning, I have just downloaded the OpenPli in my laptop. Appears in a Octagon. What my next step to transfer to the Fat32 USB that I have? Could anyone help please?
 
In the laptop there is a Octagon folder

Hello, I got to this stage so far. As I started to set up, after pressing the resolution 1080p suddenly appeared this message. I tried to turn off tv and receiver , changed ports but no luck. Any idea what can I do now? Many thanks

How to USB flash the Octagon SF8008 ?

The procedures on the internet seem not very complicated.

Log in via the WebInterface and set the correct resolution

Yes, I searched and there are many good videos and excellent tutorials about.
That's not the case. I went through everything and the set up was going pretty well but my tv didn't recognise the port and as far as I understand, it is related to the 1080p image recognition. I delete the image in the receiver and keept the OpenAtv because I managed well for my satellites channels.
Now , I would like to add more into the same receiver. For example, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and the Dowloader App. So.I can use one receiver for all my subscriptions.

Add to Enigma2 or add to DefineOS?
 
This is what I managed to do. Finally I managed to upload the Openpli and reached to the satellites that I had on Openatv. Now there's no Internet connection. So it will be my next step for the apps that I would like to have.
