@andrew: Too late to start an 11023 Reports only Thread, what with the changeover now imminent. With hindsight, maybe, but for now we'll live with what we've got: Analoguesat made a good fist of producing such a map last night and I'm sure he'll update it soon ................

Will certainly take on board your other ideas.

Whatever we do, someone will feel aggrieved!
yes the map is the way forward - easy to see straight away size of dish reported ..

I have a Humax Foxsat too and it just will NOT let me save the transponder. I have to tinker around an awful lot to get it to "look" at 11023H , but it does give me an 85% SS and 90%SQ. However, since I can't save the transponder as a "user defined", I can't scan it for channels and thus have never been able to get a picture from the signal.
I'm assuming this is some kind of idiosynchrasy of Humax Foxsat boxes and that they somehow default to Freesat 28.2 (and therefore Freesat defined transponders).
All will be clear over the next couple of days, but reports from further south than me make me think I'll get good reception when the changover takes place.
Ah yes, I've been annoyed by that in the past. Impossible to add new transponders :( One of the reasons why I gave up on it for anything other than Freesat (the main reason being I couldn't get it to drive a 10-way Diseqc switch). It's a shame because I find the interface slicker and more responsive than that of the Openbox S10 I'm now using.

It's no problem at all to add new Transponders - I do it all the time as both my Foxsat and my Foxsat HDR are used as multi-Satellite boxes.

I didn't mean reception reports, I meant local chit-chat so we don't bore the pants off everyone who has a completely different set of problems and needs. What I have noticed from Spain is a complete lack of reports from the south (Costa del Sol). Have all the Brits that lived there gone home?

Anyway, today I threw up a 120x110 fixed dish skewed for Astra for testing. If in the end there is any headroom on this I'll swap it for a Famaval 1m Hi Gain and do some reports on that dish too.

It's the white dish in the photo (green dish below it is for 42E and 45E).

So the question is: did you get a picture on your Foxsat, scanning 11023H? If so, mine must have a gremlin.

Yes, on both Test Channels.

Foxsat are tricky blighters for tests as they don't like periods without modulation or with unexpected flags set.

My first try gave the same result as you got, so I did it again a minute later and it worked : Both Channels happily stored in my non-Freesat list, with the 6901/6911 Idents.

I noticed a total lack of reports from Costa del Sol but I have had 3 people test it but all of them have 1.35 dishes and not one of them could get the signal.

A friend was going to check on a 1.8M I will post as soon as I know, He is in Marbella.

11023H has dropped from 62% SNR to 57% in the last 2 hours (as measured on DM800)

Still not pixelating.
