Heads-up Russian speakers: Classic Soviet comedy "Irony of Fate" is airing on 1TV Europe on Hotbird. This is pretty much to USSR what Dinner for One is for Germany, except this one is exceptionally long.

There appears to be a snafu regarding Iraqi channels on Hotbird. On Al-Iraqiya's place there is a channel Al-Riadiya(Judging by logo state sports channel, currently showing live football match between Iraq and Oman). Upon discovery of the issue there was Al-Iraqiya broadcasting at Al-Baghdadia's place but now Al-Baghdadia is back. First thought there has been transponder reshuffle.

Note: At least last year, the 1TV Europe on Hotbird did not unterrupt Irony of Fate for president's speech. But that's obviously the version aimed at mainland Europe, not necessarily in his sphere of influence. From the days I had a pay-TV subscription I remember 1TV's Baltic version PBK would take the speech.
