Have you been able to lock the CNN transponder on 11112H at your location?
I have been unable so far to lock anything on 2G in Zichron Yaacov but on my Satlook the 11112H transponder looked to be possible.
I am using the published settings of 22000-5/6 and have had the best looking signal on a Satlook Analyser using a single polarity horizontal feed and LNB on my 2.4m ChannelMaster dish.

Even with the signal looking OK I was unable to lock 11112H.
Are you able to lock 11112H?

If you can set the meter in dB (C / N), so you'll have a better idea whether the tuner and you have what can lock/tune.

Normally they tuners usually give the signal levels/SNR, quality/AGC and dB, if you know the limits of the tuner, you know if it is possible or not.

As a reference for comparison, the satellite AzerSpace1/Africasat1a to 46.0°East is out of reach with the antenna that I have (94cm) in the meter Rover SRM-50 depending on the tp, I have to 58.1dBμV to 61.5dBμV and the tuner is fully blind.
Since the meter in dB (I have pictures) of the order of 3'0dB if I remember correctly, The minimum DreamBox800S-HD is in 3.5dB.

Si puedes configurar el medidor en db (C/N), de esta manera tendras una idea mas aproximada y saber si el sintonizador que tienes lo puede bloquear/sintonizar.

Normalmente los sintonizadores suelen dar los niveles de señal/SNR, calidad/AGC y dB, si sabes el limite del sintonizador, puedes saber si es posible o no.

Thanks for your response.
I should have added the S/N figure derived from the Satlook - it was 7.0db which according to Lyngsat's data should have locked the transponder (they say 6.5dB is enough). I enclose a screen shot:

Have you any idea what is the adjacent transponder at 11088H - its not on the Lyngsat list?

I have checked the Satlook on my 1.2m dish at 19E looking at the 11612H transponder.
This is supposed to need 6.5dB S/N to lock but actually was locked at an indicated 3.4dB on the Satlook.

'Fringe' here (Alicante) depends on dish sise but on 1.8m:-

But I can see from the spectrum analyser that the second peak is not 11082H. I had wondered whether I was on on the wrong satellite but nothing nearby seems to fit the bill.

Many thanks for the scan data - I must be picking up the 11088H peak from somewhere else as its way off from 11082H.
And maybe my 11112H peak is not coming from 2G?

CNN 11111 H 22000 Madrid (Spain) breaks the level indicator and am not useful reference.

The minimum level depends on the tuner, in my case it is better VU + DUO2 I have the DB800S-HD, but familiarity and comfort for fishing is the equipment I use normally.
What say the web is one thing and reality is not always the same, apart from the environmental conditions that modify levels many times during testing.

Comment for those who are closer to UK and can tune its beam (UK), who may have changes soon, the reference is the tp 11053 H 23000, normally this interfered by tp's coming and I can not tune last night nothing and I can tune it perfectly today, the last time only lasted 24 hours, and make a picture with the tuner and sees the spectrum analyzer to compare with the old ones I have on other occasions.


Regardless of the possible interference ....
Eutelsat25B / Eshail1 at 25.5 ° East on 11046 H 27500 3/4 (verified now and before).
Badr6 at 26.0 ° Eeste in 10930H 27500 3/4 (as reference satellite.)

In the photos of the spectrum analyzer marcare tp 11082H (Beam Europe), the signal is very strong.

CNN en 11111 H 22000 por Madrid (España) rompe el indicador de nivel y no soy util de referencia.

Los niveles minimos depende del sintonizador, en mi caso es mejor el VU+DUO2 que tengo que la DB800S-HD, pero por familiaridad y comodidad para las pescas es el equipo que uso normalmente.
Lo que digan las web es una cosa y la realidad no siempre es igual, aparte de las condiciones medioambientales que modifican los niveles muchas veces durante las pruebas.

Comentar para los que estamos mas cerca de UK y podemos sintonizar su haz (UK), que posiblemente tengamos cambios muy pronto, la referencia es el tp 11053 H 23000, normalmente esta interferido por los tp's proximos y no lo puedo sintonizar, anoche nada y hoy lo puedo sintonizar perfectamente, la ultima vez solo duro 24horas, ya realice una foto con el sintonizador y lo que ve el analizador de espectro para comparar con las viejas que tengo de otras veces.

Sin tener en cuenta la posible interferencia de....
Eutelsat25B/Eshail1 at 25.5°Este en 11046 H 27500 3/4 (verificado ahora y las otras veces).
Badr6 at 26.0°Eeste en 10930H 27500 3/4 (como referencia del satelite).

En las fotos del analizador de espectro marcare el tp 11082H(haz Europa), la señal es muy muy fuerte.
