Hi,
i'm currently seeking advice from someone far smarter than myself about encryption methods and possible work arounds.
What i want to be able to do might not be actually possible but posting my problems on forums has never got me very far in the past ;)
Any of you out there that are up for...
Hi all,
I've not long been into playing around with satellites but when a friend of mine gave me his old Channel Master 183 (http://www.channelmaster.com/pdf/type183.pdf) , i've gotta say, i'm somewhat hooked!
Anyway i'm looking for some help with this dish. I'm told it's a very good 1.8m...
basically for what i use a satellite for i need a minimum of 1.8m dish that i know. with neighboors and all thats big enough so i wouldn't like to go any bigger. i live in the midlands UK area. at the moment i have a Channel Master dish which i'm told was one of the best 1.8 dishes available...
Hi,
I currently have a fixed 1.8m dish. I'm looking to upgrade my whole setup as the signals i recieve aren't to strong. I have two LNB's also, one is some unknown make and the other an Invacom 0.3dB which does produce a lot better results.
Could someone suggest the best LNB and 1.8m dish i...
Well as you can probably tell, i don't know sqwat about Satellites lol. I don't actually have the Tandberg system yet but it is the TT1260. I was lead to believe this wouldn't find out the PID codes for me though?
Hi thanks for your reply to my post. What is your view on the symbol rate? The PCI cards say 1-45 whereas im usually need a symbol rate of 3000+. Does this matter? I use a Tandberg 4:2:2 Reciever, i would only be using a PCI card along with ProgDVB for the PID codes.
Thanks!
Ok then, another question, i'm looking into getting a PCI card to use with Prog DVB for the PID scanner plugin. I've looked at a couple of cards and they all seem to have similar specs. The two values that concern me are Recieving Freq: 950~2150Mhz and Symbol Rate:1~45. The channels i...
Hi,
i'm new to this site so sorry if i am repeating on a topic already covered.
Basically, i want to view a channel that uses MPEG2 4:2:2 but changes its PID's on a daily basis.
Does anyone know of a program or device that can scan frequencies for their PID values?
Thanks in advance :)
