Yer if you can get the phone cable to the sky box before the engineer gets there it makes it a hell of alot quicker as they will have to run there own cable and they will staple it to the scerting boards.

by the sounds of it.. its you signal strength. if you are getting no bar on the signal stenth or quality you will need to get that fixed. If you can get good quality it wont matter how low your signal strength is. If you are recording some thing and your signal stops then your recording will to.

In the back of all DVB set top boxs (including sky +) there is a cam slot in the back. If you can reprogram the box to read the cam then you can look at other saterlittes
