I’m finding that the picture stream (but not sound) eventually breaks down after a period of time (like 5 minutes or more) and this can only be remedied by switching away and back to the channel when it’s fine for another 5 minutes. Very annoying.

Same here. I’m guessing if they reduce the total number of channels on the transponder on December 10 - which it looks like they intend to - then things will improve.

OK. I too had this channel non-available. Now I look, you are absolutely right. It’s working just fine. Not blocky; not stop-starting; not jerky.
I think that’s conclusive. It’s not an lnb/dish/local receiver problem; it’s a SV problem.
I’m now going to wash my eyes out. :-rofl2
I just checked my signal strength etc on that particular transponder and it’s absolutely fine. I also just today took receipt of a Viaccess 3 Cam but it makes no difference. Pretty much all other channels from 13°E (like the Mediaset ones) are just fine also so I doubt it’s the LNB (or dish)...
This is getting very annoying. I even bought a modern Viaccess Cam in the hopes it was the problem. But it made little difference. SV does not respond at all to emails.
