To access the keys menu you need to use FAV+4+3+2+1 (one key at a time) or in my case SAT+5+5+5+5 via the remote because I've changed my firmware to a newer one for the receiver Baff 3800 that is fully compatible.

Have a look at this Doc: www.aktis.com.tr/download/SUG.doc Also, after going through the Service Menu, at rebooting when you have the starting screen, just use the OK key and the system will start. At least that was happened to me.

Hi, You can update the keys of this receiver by updating the software with a default.pak file. How can I edit a pak file? Thanks.

If anybody is interested, I found the answer on a different receiver brand (Aktis). You need to access the Service Menu by pressing V+ and V- together, plug the receiver in, and wait till the panel shows 8888. Thanks anyway.

Hi, I updated the software with no problems, but on restart the receiver is stuck on an IDTE screen and with an "init" on the box panel. I can update the software again but after that it gets stuck again on the same. Any suggestions? Thanks.
