Correct, never broadcast from Astra 19E, but the content could have been digital from the studio to the uplink station. Perhaps somebody from the commercial side of things (at the time) can provide the answer.

Radio Luxembourg was piggybacked on the Astra RTL channel after programme closedown, it might be the crossover from one transponder to another at the uplink station was in digital format.
