Both cables from quad LNB worked when connected to old Foxsat HD. The problem occurred when the new Foxsat HDR tried to connect to quad LNB during set-up wizard. I accept that this could still be a faulty LNB with output working but not input.

Bought the Humax from Comet last night. They then tried to screw another £45 out of me for a HDMI 1.3 cable saying the one supplied with the Foxsat HD is of poor quality. What a wonderful world we live in.

Can anyone offer any advice as to which receiver to buy. The choice would seem to be between the Humax Foxsat HD and the Grundig GUFSATHD. Both are in stock in Comet though I believe I will have to purchase a HDMI cable for the Grundig. Which one should be looking at.

I'm seriously thinking of cancelling my £45 Sky subscription and moving to Freesat. This has probably been asked 1000+ times before but is my current Sky minidish suitable for receiving Freesat HDTV or do I need to change the LNB. Any help would be most appreciated.
