I have this workin now even with sound on Sky channels, but its a unreliable after about 15 min the picture goes all blocky until I press stop and play again. Has anyone got any tips for me on how to get a reliable stream from my 500s to my PC It donesn't have to be VLC it just needs to be good...

I don't think so, but Gemini makes it easy, to get the files you require go to the blue panel -> download and installs -> Cam_plugins dowload and install newcamd config you should now see the files in /var/tuxbox/config/newcamd good luck

Thanks for the reply, but it is not that, VLC is opening and it's only some sky channels that have no audio. Any ideas I'd love to be able to fix this one. Ps its not the audio channels as I have tried each one in turn.

Now got it working with VLC client from the web interface using FireFox only! and only worked after the cam was configured even for FTA channels (BBC). However I still have no audio on some sky channels like sky movies any ideas? Thanks

Does anyone know how to stream a satellite singal, over a local TCP/IP network and software decode it with a PC? This is my first post by the way, great community.
