use DreamBoxEdit to save all your config files (satilites.xml, boquets etc). Then when you have your new image on, send the settings back to the dreambox. dave mak

it is working and as you can see, Musicbob(:cool: ) will release it tomorrow/today :D . so all you 500 and 56xx owners, its time to get them nfs servers up and running, if you haven't already done so dave mak :righton:

the computer needs to be left on i think... i have restarted my computer while an image was running from my comp with no problems, but if i was to change emu or something like that im sure the db would lock up,...hmm ill try and see...but later tho cos my downloads are comming in fast and i dont...

having a multiboot setup gives you more control, like when the hydra control panel went tits up, you could just boot to another image and use that instead of having to reflash the box again, but the BIG feature is your /var folder is now huge and is only limited by how big the pc's hard drive...

i have a patched fwpro.go file MB made that allows it to work with 500's and 56xx, but sorry i cant post it . 4.6 will be released very soon ;) its part of clone cd. but games have been kicking up a bit of a fuss cos i have it installed, try "DAEMON TOOLS" that does the same thing and shows...
