Stable reception 24/7 of the entire Europe B beam on 2.4m Channel Master in Bahrain.

Hi all! It's been a while for me to post here. Hope all you guys are well. Some reception reports from me for Hellas Sat 3 in Bahrain. The reception varies throughout the day with signals between 9 db and 16 db. At around 08:30 PM the signal level drops and it comes back between 01:30 and 02:30...

This was the best I could find here, but I am considering additional support struts. The base itself is quite thick though - 10mm of steel.

I can upload some screenshots only as of yet, but tomorrow I will take some pictures of the installation. The triax twin outperformed again the black ultra.. The last picture was taken yesterday and since then I've managed to squeeze this tp up to 12.4db. This is, as expected the strongest...

I am happy to announce that all the frequencies of Bulsatcom (and Hellas Sat 2 in general, except 2 tps on F2 beam) are perfectly receivable on a 2.4m Channel Master in Bahrain, 24/7. Many thanks to all the guys for the support and shared knowledge. Pictures and details to follow.

Hellas at 39°E for Bulsatcom. But when I set it up I will try as many satellites as I can and will post the reports. Now wish me luck with the setup.

Yes, they are the same length, but you're right the nut is missing.

Thanks, trigger. This antenna should be brand new... at least this is what I paid for :) If you look at the middle one on the first pic, it's also not straight, it arcs in the middle, but not as much as the one you mentioned. Even the third one is not straight in the middle.

Did some tests on Hellas sat 2 with Inverto Black Ultra Quad today. I got 7db on 12524 V - a bit better than the Triax twin, but all other frequencies are worse. 12524 H 5 db (6 db with the Triax), 12565 H 1.8 db ( 2.9 db with the Triax), 12565 V 2.4 db (same as the Triax), 12606 H DVB-S2 0 db...

Some new results tonight from Hellas. The 1.6m offset completely outperformed the 2.4m prime focus. The signal is 3 to 4 db stronger on the 1.6m on all frequencies. I used Triax TTW 004 twin lnb. There are some trees in this direction and scattered clouds tonight. P.S. From Intelsat 12 at...

I tried some months ago, but didn't have the meter then... I thought the frequency duplication with the indian beam at 45e would make it "hard to get". No imagination at all from Intelsat :-) P.S. In the next few days I'll try to see what the meter reads.
