Hotbird and Sirius are the birds you need to aim at Taffy. The wife watches Moscow Open World, TRK Ukrania, Inter, Enter, Perviy Kanal and 3 plus baltics from Sirius, and RTR and ORT on hotbird. I dunno if a twin LNB will stretch 8 degrees, but you'll need at least a 1m dish for 3 plus baltics...

It worked ok on version 1.04, then it used to pixellate on 1.06. So I traded mine in for an echostar, which has been ok so far.

Cheers Zorba thanks for the help. We will be moving back to Yermasoyia nr Limassol. There's enough fta footy on those satellites, so well happy with that!

Hi Rob, Sveta has just written the Russian characters in indelible pen underneath the english letters on the keyboard. The missing characters are to be found to the right of the english letters. you don't need a new keyboard unless you only want russian characters.

right click on language bar in bottom rh corner choose settings choose add select russian make it default away you go! ( i only know because my wife is russian!)

nahary I had the same problem with my old televes 7254, in that it worked fine with version 1.055, but wouldn't work with 1.06. I could only pick up FTA channels after the upgrade was done. I tried the cam in an Ecostar and the 1.06 worked fine in it. So the immediate solution was to trade up...

Well and truly caught it m8 :cool: I dread to think how much it has cost so far, but even in hindsight, short of putting a motorised dish in the back garden and cutting down the only tree, I couldn't have picked up hispasat and hotbird much cheaper than doing it with two dishes.
