Dream has stopped making the Dm8000, so any one you buy is old stock now, its also vastly over priced. You would be far better buying a Vu Ultimo instead.

I think the image has corrupted then, don't think anything is wrong with the box, reflash the image on then set the tuner up again.

go in to te tuner setting and change them all to unset, then start again and put them all to lnb 1. on the second page have you got USE USALS FOR THIS SAT = YES. JUST NOTICED THE FIRST PIC YOU HAVE USALS SET AS NO!!!!

Your second picture looks ok, apart from i would have "increased voltage = yes", AND HOW COME ITS LNB 2? and have you done every sat you want the same? as in once you clicked ok for 28e, you then scrolled to the right for the next sat then changed lnb to the same, and so on.

I would take the drive out and then format it with your pc, ext 3, not fat32 or ntfs, then put it back in your dm, and it will more than likely work correctly, Trying to format and initialise the drive through the dm is pretty hopeless.

Timeshift is meant to go to media/hdd, its only recording's that go to media/hdd/movie. You can change the timeshift path if you go to menu, system, recording path.

You say that it moves to the 3 sats you set manually, so have you actually set the tuner up for te rest of the sats? Is your sat xml upto date? Post a couple of screen grabs of the tuner setup page, so i can have a look at it. Don't listen to the scaremongers about clone's you get a couple...

Have you came across STBHD Channels Edit tool? from what i read it Can Split your TP_prog.dbs in to two udf files then when you edit them it can merge them back together again then you can upload to the stb via the usb. I don't really know if this helps any, i'm still looking for info on the...
