I am unable to get on ALSAT either, ALL other sites are fine. I assumed ALSAT was down but found it weird nobody else has mentioned it. From the above replies it is obviously a problem with our PC's but I am pretty thorough with keeping my PC clean. I will let you know when I sort the problem.

The only unofficial site listed for Technomate receivers is ALSAT.co.uk which doesn't appear to exist anymore. Anybody know its new address or a similar site for Technomate? Tks

Anybody else had problems loggin in to ALSAT forums. They no longer recognise my username/password ( yes I have got the case correct ) , nor do they recognise my email adress and finally the site will not let me re register. Any advice appreciated.

It is amazing what you can learn here in a few days. From knowing nothing except Sky is on something called Astra I am now planning a motorised sytem. Could someone tell me the difference between "Go To X" and "USALS" or are they the same? Tks.

Tks for the reply Rolf. Reading the other thread maybe I would be better jumping in at the deep end and have a motorised system. I haven't bought anything yet so it isn't a problem. The gale force winds we often get may be though! Now decision time on the receiver.

There are plenty of multi LNB mounts for Hotbird/Astra1/Astra2 combinations but I need one to receive Eutelsat W2 16E / Hotbird 13E ( and not so importantly Astra 2 28E ). Any ideas where I can get one or a complete system for this setup?

Hi from yet another newbie ( 1st post ). My partner wants me to set up a sytem to receive Serbian Tv. I have worked out I need to receive channels from Hotbird and Eutelsat W2 16E. A few are clear of encryption others have Viaccess and/or Irdeto. I was thinking of one of the Technomate boxes...
