When WOULD it make a difference between mesh & solid? Also, as I've already got a 1m Sky dish, am I allowed to put a 2nd 1m dish on my property (on or off the record as both would be at the rear and not in anyone's way) ?

I presume you are talking about the Skystar2 PCI card? Will this card (with the appropriate software) fully decode & receive all 4.2.2 feeds on my PC? Is this easier to setup than a Quali-tv for a relative amateur in this field?

Are there any updates in the last 6 months or so on the PowerVU situation at all? I really want to access the SIS range of channels on the Sirius2 satellite. They are used primarily for betting shops in the UK, but I want to somehow get round/beat this security so that I can watch it at home...
