I have a standard skystar2 not hd but I can get bbc hd and itv hd no problem I gues astra promo hd must use a differrent system ?

That has got me thinking I am using a simple diseq two way switch do you think that could be blocking that single frequency ? I gues the obviouse thing to do will be to disconnect it but it is awkward to get at so any other ideas would be apreciated.

Hi all I have tried and tried to get this channel , I have manualy entered all the correct details from king of sat but no signal at all? I can get itv HD when it bothers to send out a signal and bbc HD with the same setup (skystar2 dvbdream) any help would be apreciated kindest regards to you...

just realised that the skystar2 can not be used to receive HD DVB-S2 so will have to make do with good old 625 line crt but would still like to view streams on my laptop

Hi I was wandering if anyone new of the best way to watch the dvb signals from a skystar2 through a lan, basicaly I have it working on a pc next to the tv but this pc cannot cope with a hd signal I was hoping to feed the signal via my lan to a more uptodate laptop and use this to decode the hd...

You could still record on to your pc using a tv or video input card joined to you digi box so all is not lost.
