Interesting that this shown up on 9E. It was assumed that these feeds would be turned off now there are duplicates on 28E but it appears to be a backup that won't be leaving yet
NBC now deliver MSNBC International via fibre link to providers rather than the unreliable 15W feed that went out whenever the weather was bad in New Jersey.
Kinda tempted to agree given that I just threw a small dish at 13e and got decent reception on the Vivacom TPs vs the rest, I'd say I was aligned a bit more towards 12.8-9 degrees than 13e.
Thought I'd do some testing today to check out the signal quality on a small dish. Put up a 28cm camping dish and roughly threw it to 13e, no adjustment or perfecting, the vivacom TPs come in much stronger than anything else on 13e. I'm using this info to confirm that it is a spot beam since 13e...
Can confirm, they are messing with signals atm and I can pick up some of the transponders.
I have indeed checked local forums who were reporting the same as me. Not sure why you think I'm after technical help here, I'm not. I'm just posting the signals from my location for infomation since...
Absolutely nothing here at this time from any of them. Obviously STB isn't an accurate way of recording but I can get the spectrum analyser out with similar results.
1m dish with 13e as centre and 19e offset, 19e at 16dB mostly.
It is interesting, I'm not alone either. There are reports on Bulgarian forums with similar issues with these specific transponders. It seems the beam drops off just around Romania.
As for setup, I redid the entire thing two days ago, it's perfect with 17dB coming in from Astra too.
Maybe the...
And yet in Bulgaria, all 5 TP's don't exist. So whatever this testing is for, it's not for it's target market. The rest of 13e is around 12-13dB while these transponders don't even show up on the spectrum.
It is fully allowed to carry the UK PSBs under Swiss law. It protects those rights by restricting usage to people with Swiss addresses.
There is nothing unlawful about Kabelio
It's not your hardware. The source they are providing to the uplinker is corrupt upon encoding.
Again, an email to the technical team is needed to fix it sadly.
You are correct, there is a fault with the encoder settings on this channel. It works on the PC but on two of my STBs, it's glitching in strange ways.
Interestingly, it's an ffmpeg software encoder (they didnt change the ID) so I'm not really sure how it's doing this but they probably just have...
In Bulgaria the signals have not really changed much, .2dB here or there on some transponders but otherwise regular business. This would appear to show that there is a drop further to the east from western europe that you go but I can't really confirm anything definitive. If anyone knows how to...
