That's a bit odd; with Digital TV, it (typically) either works or ist doesn't. Poor signal might give a blocky picture, but usually if the signal is not good enough, then you will get nothing. I trust you have tried putting the original LNB back to see what effect that has?
It's a very touchy subject. I would say that some people smoke because they are addicted, and some because they like it. I smoke because I like it. I have tried stopping (because it is bad for you) on a number of occasions, but (and some would argue being weak willed), I have returned to it...
It's now about 55.5 or so. I also put it back to the position it was on originally (59.9) which didn't give me good results. But I do seem to get good signal on all birds between 28.2E and 30W.
Well...I set the motor to about 52 lattitude, alligned the dish with Thor (moving the dish angle till best signal). All OK so far. Then moved the dish to Hotbird - all OK. Astra 1, signal weakening, Astra 2 - nothing. Moved the dish back to Thor - all OK. Moved the dish to Hispasat - No signal...
This is the bit I'm not sure about. I need to set lattitude on the motor and the dish? or do i set the dish to a "neutral" position and use the motor to determine Lattitude. Or is it a combination of the two? And likewise, when adjusting lattitude, is it on the motor or on the dish?
Mostly fine. I get 1W > 30W pretty good, average strength on 13E and 19.2E so miss a few transponders on each, and not great on 28.2 channels (can't get BBC1 for instance). So I can't be wildly out.
As a matter of interest, is it the dish inclination that's adjusted, and the motor mount should...
I think this means I have done mine wrong! If I'm in Slough, what should my Motor be set to when picking up 1W? Currently my motor says 1w at 1w, but I have a feeling this isn't as it should be?
Hi Katie, I bought one of these as well, and just had a go using my Sky minidish.
Firstly, with the receiver set to Astra2, I get signal (60%) but no quality at all, with the only changine being the satellite. I then changed the LNB to LNB1, and suddenly I get 60% quality. Change to LNB2 and no...
Hi Katie,
Do you have another dish you can connect the box to? At least that will help determine whether the reciever is faulty or not. Are you in a position where you can see any other dishes? Astra 2 is fairly easy to pick up as the signal is quite strong, but you do need to be pointing in...
I presume you're talking about no signal quality, but getting good signal strenth?
it is also possible you need to look the the skew on the LNB - try rotating slightly in the arm and see what effect that has. It is also woth adjusting the elevation of the dish slightly - different LNBs can...
Hi there,
It works for me on MRev 1.170, in Echo 808. If I understand correctly, it can be very receiver dependant.
BUT...you need tit or tit2 and s2 files to get it. MRev on it's own won't do it.
