It might be true but having an american culture of doing business, I would invest in new customers, not in upgrades of the existing one's. Edit: not to mention the sport events chosen for that day....How can I be attracted by that? But this is only my opinion and taste ;-)

If the reason is football, classic music or opera, the issue remains: we still have too many SD channels and most of them with poor quality (e.g. the one's on Hotbird). On the other end, we do have HD TV's and receivers.

After all it is a shame that in 2010 with the best technology ever, North Europeans are hoping/bagging for some channels with good bitrate and/or in HD... How is it possible to talk about 3D channels/tv if 70% of them are still in SD?
