Yeap same thing known as peat in England/Wales/Scotland. Always known in that form as turf here in the West of Ireland. Others will be more familiar with lawn/grass turf, meaning a roll of grass for laying in the garden. The only reference to peat here is the stuff that you get in compost bags...

I have in the past for Eutelsat but it makes very little difference on that box. I just expected 2F to be a stronger signal much like 1N is at present. Perhaps with my setup and the length of the cable run, anything on a TP of 12000 and above doesn't come in as well.

Regarding Planet Rock. When this was on Eutelsat I got around 45-55% quality and would suffer dropouts due to rain. I was very pleased it moved to Astra 1N as I get that at 98% quality. But I noticed on Astra 2F PE beam it's only 60%. I'm surprised as I expected a better signal from 2F. I'm in...

Have a look at slide #25 & 26 here @ www.ses.com/11572422/120522_CDO_Investor_Day_FINAL from 22nd May 2012. The interesting thing is slide #26 is stamped 'corrected slide' - so what date was it corrected....? But taken at face value it infers that 2F was always scheduled to be a replacement...
