We will continue to discuss this tomorrow. The PM shown on the picture at purplesat is a very different category than the PM of SSS. This does not mean that he drives the curve better.
Perhaps someone times per mail in good English with purplesat after.
Good Night!
St1 ... you have certainly in almost all right. Prodelin still has all spare parts in stock ... but all produced long ago.
The antenna reflectors are identical, was clear. The polarmounts are different. Share the pictures. Purplesat offers 3 different polarmounts and none is certainly identical...
Rima ... points 1 and 2 can be fixed with inox screws and washers. Point 3 I could not translate correctly. The LNB twists with time because it is not tight enough. Do you mean that?
Man could turn the complete bracket by a spin. Made of metal. If this is necessary at all.
Yes rima could be the same. But if it has been so long they can not be so miserable. Then they would have exchanged from manufacturer side.
What is to happen? Do not screw them tight. Slipping? Twisting?
Yes scopus ... you have an original channelmaster antenna / reflector ... but I thought ... a Raven SSS polar mount and also the Raven SSS plastic holder?
Or did CM / Andrew already have these plastic brackets? I do not know that. Had no CM / Andrew / Raven.
I just looked up ... andrew...
No rima, I do not want an own building. Only so much: an original feedhorn tuned to the antenna surpasses your universal clearly in the reception.
The experience has already made others.
I am the opinion ... original feedhalter is the best. Even if from plastic. Is the plastic holder wobbly ... or just not so robust? I would still lie down a reserve because of possible uv crumbling.
Do you have a link to a suitable alternative metal holder? I myself have mirror (kathrein)...
That sounds good to @scopus. Thanx.
So you have a 1.8m SSS raven? The profile is still channelmaster.
You certainly use the original feed. What a little displeasing to me is the Raven feed support boss. Is made of plastic. Is that what? On the sun and uv load. My other feed holders are all...
Thanx Scopus. Primesat identical to SSS (now I know what you always mean with SSS).
But why did purplesat still supposedly original channelmaster? And more stable and original polar mounts? And of course all considerably more expensive.
A final qualitative statement about the sss-polar mount...
Hey guys,
You put yourselves in power. Thanx. Although we often talk past each other. Is certainly due to my bad translation.
1. What do you always mean with SSS? Please write out.
2. The polar mount of the raven is yet another like that at purplesat. Therefore you have to take into account...
I do not need a professional motor-driven AZ / EL drive. My question was yes how good is the raven polar mount? The original channelmaster polarmount purplesat (Standard polarmount (includes inclined actuator points) ............. £ 489) looks very similar to the Raven PM. Therefore the question...
Can you make your sentences shorter? Otherwise I do not understand them.
I thought there is no original channelmaster anymore? What is the difference? The stability of the polar mounts?
No sensible pictures at purplesat!
The polar mount of ravens is another like the one on purplesat...
You did not understand me correctly. Because of the bad english.
I have optimized my prodelin ... by using the original feed now. This has nothing to do with the question of the raven. I do not need a comparison to the prodelin.
My question is directed to raven users with polarmount. The...
Hello,
sorry for my bad english. After I optimized my 1.8m prodelin antenna ... I am still looking for one in the size.
I would like to buy a Raven 1.8m with polar mount. Does anyone have experience with it? What is the quality of the polar mount? Stability? In wind, for example. And how...
