hi hope everybody had a great christmas, we did thanks to your help. got a new problem now when i am recording one prog ( CSI on 5 ) sky 1 and a few other channels break up as if there is a storm sound and picture distorted. can anyone offer some help ? cheers :)

Guys replacement pace box turned up just got sky to sinc up card everything working great. thanks for the help. :)

thanks the pots look ok but the box is knackerd so i'll have to share with the Mrs till the pace box shows up.

hi guys i have done all the above and swapped the boxes grundig still has missing channels down stairs so i've bought a box on ebay hope this sorts the problems out, already fighting over the +box. i'll update when the new box arrives. thanks for all the great input this is a fantastic forum. ;)

thanks for the fast replies. i popped the top and the power board looks ok nothing blown or bulging to the untrained eye they were all covered in some type of silicone ? as to the signal page the grundig is sig strength moving between 50 & 70 % sig quality 50 & 60 % the + box is less...

Hi this my first post i have sky+ with multiroom DRX180 and Grundig 3000, recently the Grundig has been giving error messages "no signal" and "faulty try later" the final straw is that when the Mrs turns the sky+ box to stand by it cuts off the Grundig upstairs. i need help i can only guess its...
