Ok my 2 penneth worth on a Stab HH120, I have had 1 of these for the past 2 years, I can confirm that the gears inside are metal, from memory 1 of the larger cogs is made from brass :(, I took mine apart to grease it up after it had become noisy, my dish is a 1.1m Triax and sits above my gutter...
