Could you show some pictures of your setup and explain how you did it?
I would like to do the same with my 3.1m antenna but I don't really know how to do it.
Thanks
Which lnb and feedhorn are you using?
I have the same antenna and I found out that the Incacom lnb and feedhorn are giving me the best results (beating by far the Inverto Black Pro either with Iberosat or Invacom feedhorn).
If you have a good internet connection you can use a slingbox and a slingcatcher. The latest is no longer manufactured but you can still buy it on eBay.
This as been a good solution for me. My parents live 500km away in the north of the country and they can receive 2E and 2F spot beam easily.
I wonder to want extent this is related with the 2E/2F signal increase we have experienced over here in the past 2 weeks...
I guess this is some optimisation work before the Christmas freeze about to come...
Depends where you are in Portugal.
In the north 1.2m is enough for 24/7 reception all year.
The signal dies abruptly in the center of the country.
In Lisbon so far we were on a deep null.
I'm getting some signal now. But people in the close vicinity with 2.2m cab't even get a lock.
Something must have changed up there.
I never had a lock before in Lisbon and now I'm getting 2E uk beam. And this morning I could get a picture on channel 5 txponder on 2F for some time...
I've ordered an inverto c120 pro lnb
On the inverto web site the picture shows a black label. But the one I've got has a red label.
The reference in the label is IDLB-QUDFO2-OOPRO-OPP.
This matches the reference on interto web site. But how can I be sure to be a real one?
Thanks!
One week after situation remains stable.
C/N varies according to the transponder. The lower ones are better with C/N around 7dB.
BBCs are around 6.5dB but sometimes drop to 5.5dB (namely every day after 22h30). At this point they are no longer watchable.
I'm thinking about replacing by Invacom...
