thanks.ive forgot about thor........im moving the whole assembly to 8 degrees west. now this is what you said "but your polarmount should be at dead centre plus or minus the degrees to your nearest due South"

this is confusing.......currently the polar mount is dead centre and the dish is pointing at thor. 0.8 w. so if i just turn the dish and locate 8w (thats allowing me the difference of 7 degrees).like you said above "You'd be better off notching your polarmount 1 degree West and aligning on...

so if i do what i said in my last post i should be able to get the dish on the arc then?

i forgot to mention im in derry and my longitude is 7 degrees west......so surely i will be starting with thor ? when ive got thor strong, should i then move my polar mount 7 degrees?????

this is my mates dm500s.plus it wasnt me that set up cardshare on my 7000s. i was ok when it was marys keys a couple of years back.but i havent used keys and cams since.......

so to recap im on hotbird.with " satans" installed on helenite image and the cams are cc cam, evocam and mgcamd..not receiving much now tho......multi vis*** was on earlier 1 channel with cc cam
