Advice Needed Channel master 1.2m with polar mount, Setup

The pole it about 3m in total, 2 meters above ground high and aluminium. Thats why it had room to sway a bit, the bottom of the pole it solid and locked into the concrete.

Advice Needed Channel master 1.2m with polar mount, Setup

Ah ah, now I know why the channel master manual says fill it with concrete. I'm a little worried that it'll make the pole brittle. I figured between the wind never rarely if ever hitting 90mph let alone 120mpg , If I went with the 120mph specs I might be able to get away with having the pole up...

Advice Needed Channel master 1.2m with polar mount, Setup

much progress made but not 100% finished. The dish had to go from the tripod as it's nearly time to put the vegetables in the veggie patch it was temporally setup on. I used a 4 pint milk bottle to make and LNB cover, it's making a hell of a difference in the rain, an not impacting the dish...

Advice Needed Channel master 1.2m with polar mount, Setup

I picked up a Channel master 1.2m last year with a bloody great pole that needs concreting in the ground. complete with polar mount and jack and loads of 4 core cable suitable for driving the motor. All I needed was a V-box to test it all about and it works which i also picked up. I just added a...

How to enter legitmate BISS key?

We are talking about the format of constant cw file in the likes of for EMU's, it's the same format for that file on a dreambox. but you can replace the xx's and yy's with keys if and when you know them. Each xx or yy is a byte so in hexadecimal that would be a value between 00-ff in hex.

How to enter legitmate BISS key?

For the future reference and hopefully fully compliant with the forum rules. I used xx's and yy's to represent the CW keys, but they are not keys or even fake keys, as keys are in hex. my template is where xx marks the would be odd (first 8 xx's or bytes) and even ( last 8 yy's or bytes)...

ITV / C4 & possible beam changes affecting fringe reception areas

It was backup for 2d as well. joked some time ago that ex-pats outside the 2d beam should shoot 2d down so all the channels get backed up onto 2c. :D

Sky HD Upgrade with Non-Sky Supplied Box

Nope, not yet. the card works but I've yet to see newcs 1.67 get hit with an EMM and update entitlements. Getting multiroom and a second card for a tenner is a problem though. you are supposed to use 2 or more approved sky boxes all permanently connected to the phone line.
