Hi folks can anyone tell me why on my 85cm dish from the north west of the UK why I can pick up some transponders on the euro beam and not others. Some are perfectly strong whilst others I cant even get a signal on. I Had a go at getting the Slovak Sport channel last night, and although I can...

I can report it wasnt a dodgy icecrypt; but i have reduced the BER to 0 (yes 0!) on all those that were seemingly troublesome. By driving to the Sat via usals then going into the motor setup then moving the dish using the fine tune option either E or W I managed to reduce BER step by step down...

Hi hopper, the tape was an extra measure of mine under the amalg. tape to repel water etc (maybe seemingly abit over kill). Its over the f connector fitting upto the neck of the nut, rather than under the fitting if thats what you mean. I plan to retape up the setup once ive got everything tested.

Hi matey Just a bit confused by what your saying, Iam assuming that what you are saying is these LMBs could \ have been manufactured slightly wrongly and the zero skew on the unit isnt correct or in the usuual position. And to offset this problem I need to skew the LNB to the "actual" zero...
