Hi, I have got a Grunding HD freesat receiver that is not outputting power to the LNB and therefore does not work, setup as a slave receiver connected to the looptrough of another receiver works OK, only in the polarity and band setup by the master receiver. Obviously the supply side of the LNB...
That is in line with my info, I cannot verify from my side, How are you able to verify ?
I guess that you will have different signal levels for every satellite, but I just want to confirm.
Yes, according to my sources:
10729V
11126V
11156V
Will be moved to Astra 1KR
10979
11038
11097
Will be moved to Astra 1L
All this will happen on the first hours of the 18/4/2014.
I don't know anything about the remaining TP's
Now, My sources at one broadcaster told me that there are moves of TP's from 2C as far as the 18th so if this is true I don't expect 2C to move until the last week of march.
I will answer myself ....
My sources have confirmed that the swichover for those TP will happen as follows:
All mentioned TP's will move from 2C to 1L, the date will be in the morning of 18/03/2014
Could someone confirm if 2C's TP's have been migrated ?
In particular I am interested in the following frequencies:
10970V
11038V
11097V
From my location I cannot tell.
I am almost sure that I saw an increase of signal here, as I mentioned I did not had 24x7 BBC HD and now I have 24x7 BBCHD, now, I have though on any possible explanation and check my gear, and logic tells me that cannot be otherwise.
Anyway, if the signal is stable now this topic is unimportant
Hi Huevos, I am not arguing your observations but just adding a little bit to the equation.
I have not realigned my dish and or LNB since before start of 2E, I had my dish adjusted for maximum performance with 2F, it is a 1.2 Tecatel offset, I spent the best part of an hour with a Prolink 4C+...
Yes, my understanding is that total power is decreased, i.e. number of transponders reduced, to adjust the reduction on solar array performance, but individual TP power ins maintained.
For instance, in the case of 2D and 2A North I have seen exactly the same levels of power since day one to the...
If I look at the facts at my side, with the same install and dish/lnb settings I have seen an increase on levels, now, BBCHD is possible 24x7, this was no near possible over the firsts days of 2E operation. Perhaps if no power increase or relocation has been the culprit, they have changed a...
As I have mentioned in post #274 there has been a definitive improvement of reception of 2E here, when 2E started there was no 24x7 of BBCHD, lost it mid afternoon and midnight, whether this is due to Satellite relocation or power increase, I don't know.
There was this story on the trade that those sharp LNB with C120 feedhorn performed better than anything else. I have tested a couple of those specimens and they performed little bit worse than an Invacom, I will say that they performed as good as a MTI C120 LNB.
Ultimately all was to sell a...
Hi, I have seen an improvement of signal over the last two days, whereas at the beginning of 2E I lost BBCHD tp around 2 AM and got it back at around 7AM, last two nights seems that I did not loose any TP from 2E.
Anyone seen that kind of improvement ?
I have not changed anything on my setup...
