I concur Nelson. It was below lock on my Precision 1.3 also. John is way more to East than me. We had a similar issue with TV1000 many years back. Signal for me would fade to nothing early evenings ok 24/7 for John.
Unless there obvious is damage I don't think it will make the slightest difference getting another dish face..SMC dishes such as Channel Master rarely mishape.
I would start to look elsewhere, the coax from the LNB to the VBox might worth being replaced for instance..or at least try a temporary...
Personally with the weight of a CM 1.2 dish, I wouldn't entertain putting it on a Diseqc motor. You really need something much stronger. A 36v system is needed here.
I take it the dish is a Prime Focus? If so, you are much better using a matched feed and C120 flange LNB. Most LNBs on sale now are for offset dishes, and will give a poor performance on a PF dish, unless you were to modify it for C120 operation.
Check the green connector blocks at the back are fully home, they pull out to make it easier to connect any wires. Might be worth pulling them out and back in again. Check all screws are tight etc..
You could always email RC, last time I did they were very helpful.
