is there a way to watch the scrambled hotbird channels??i have a echostar 1200 receiver can anyone please help or give me any advice

i am now thinkinking about getting a 1m motorised dish would i find this ok with a echo 1200 viaccess receiver to get a load of satellites???

i don't really know any satellites i'm a complete novice

is it possible to get other satellites than astra and hotbird with 60 cm dish????

first of all i know nothing!! Could anyone help me i have just ordered an echostar 1200 receiver i already have a sky minidish will i be able to get free channels from hotbird and astra 19 with them-alternatavley could i possibly use my old amstrad box to pick up extra channels. Any other tips...
